Determination: Footballers Who Still Play After Losing Both Legs!

These soccer players lost their legs – but didn’t lose their hope and determination.
A very unusual event started this day in Abuja – the soccer tournament for sportsmen who lost their lower limbs in a young age due to polio. The para-soccer tournament is a part of a third world polio day aimed at raising awareness towards polio and eradicating this dangerous disease worldwide.
The para-soccer tournament opened with the match of Anambra team against Borno para-soccer players.
Despite some of Anambra team participants played foul, infringing on their Borno counterparts as pictured above, Borno won with a huge score 8-0.
