2015 Elections: 10 Governors Threaten To Dump PDP

A serious setback with the re-election bid of President Goodluck Jonathan is looming, as no lower than 10 governors elected on the woking platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP have served notice of their total intention to go out of the party in front of the 2015 election.
The governors, as per competent sources, have already communicated their decision to leap ship, to President Goodluck Jonathan, that is the actual of the PDP.
It remained unclear, however, at press time if for example aggrieved governors were moving onto the newly-registered All Progressives Congress, APC, or working to float their party with a view to presenting undoubtedly one of their colleagues to be a presidential candidate within the next election.

It turned out authoritatively gathered that 5 governors of Sokoto, Niger, Adamawa, Kano and Jigawa, were the equipped to dump the party. An impeccable source told Vanguard that 5 governors communicated their threat to give up the party to President Jonathan when he summoned them for that peace parley last week.
It turned out learnt the fact that Rivers State Governor, who has also been from the Villa penultimate Friday for talks while using President, confirmed with the President that she was aware of the threat by his colleagues to jettison PDP by means of the way he, Amaechi was being treated by its Presidency and therefore the party.
Dealing with explained the fact that meeting between Amaechi and therefore the President was facilitated by its National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki (Rtd)who reasoned the fact that escalating political crisis in Rivers State and therefore the raging security challenges within the North, or else checked could trigger a national upheaval.
“The reality is the fact that NSA's office facilitated the meeting, which enabled Amaechi to talk to the President last Friday but there was really a snag as being the governor refused to throw open to Jonathan on his grievances while using party and therefore the Presidency,” a governor comfortable with the meeting, said.
“What he told the President was that she has not been fighting for himself knowning that there was other governors who were angry with the way he (Amaechi) was being humiliated and harassed by forces on the Presidency for no just cause.
