Atletico Madrid will present new summer signing from Barcelona David Villa to the media on Monday evening.
Los Colchoneros picked up the 31-year-old last week in a deal worth a total of €5.1m, ending El Guaje’s three-year spell at the Camp Nou.
Having confirmed that he will adopt the number nine jersey vacated earlier in the summer by Radamel Falcao, the club have said they will officially unveil Villa to their supporters on Monday evening.
The striker will first appear before the media at the Vicente Calderon, before half-an-hour later taking to the pitch to greet fans, who can attend the ceremony free of charge.
