KANYE West’s pricey menswear collection has flown off the rails in under 24 hours.
And one of the first items to sell out was a plain white "hip hop T-shirt" - with a price tag of £80.
The basic tee is made from fine Egyptian cotton but Twitter has been flooded with users pouring scorn on the cost of the garment.
"I’ll be damned if I pay $120 for a damn T-shirt!" tweeted one user.
@Atomic_Moog added: "Can someone explain to me the difference between a normal T-shirt and a hip-hop T-shirt? #Kanye"
The A.P.C. Kanye line – which includes £175 jeans and £184 hoodies – took two years for the rapper to design in collaboration with French fashion label A.P.C.
And despite the exorbitant prices, buyers crashed the brand’s website yesterday trying to get their hands on a piece from the collection.
Kanye's fashion triumph comes just weeks after welcoming his first child with girlfriend Kim Kardashian.
And the No Church In The Wild star's new album Yeezus has debuted at number 1 in the US Billboard charts.
