Baby born with Two Heads

Baby with two heads

Do you have two heads?

Do you remember your parents asking you this question when you bring your report card home?

Here's finally a baby with two heads but one body.

Siamese twins, born in Jaipur, Rajasthan on Wednesday, share a rib cage and shoulder girdle with the backbones joined below the pelvis. Their heads, nervous systems and backbones are separate.

Doctors in Jaipur, the capital and largest city of the Indian state of Rajasthan, say they are battling to save the baby. Dr. S.D. Sharma, medical superintendent of J.K. Lone Hospital, said that such cases are known as Dicephalic Parapagus. Most of the time, children that are Dicephalic Parapagus are born dead and, in the vast majority of cases, are girls, reports CBS. But doctors are hoping they can help the boy.

We really do hope so...
